Review of the 2025 Show

Wrapping up on 10 April in Amsterdam, in-cosmetics Global celebrated its most international edition to date, with 84% of visitors coming from outside the host country—a 16% increase over 2024.

Across three days, the event sparked nearly 205,000 connections, bringing together global suppliers, creators, and visionaries—both established and emerging—to collaborate, exchange insights, and accelerate science-driven innovation.

A surge in new ingredient launches gave creators hands-on access to the latest trends, while a 25% expansion of the educational programme and a record 1,069 suppliers made for an exceptional visitor experience. Total attendance reached 21,342, including 10,849 unique visitors—proving that one day simply wasn’t enough.

The 2025 edition further solidified the show’s role in championing scientific innovation and driving industry progress. This was reflected in the record number of entries and exceptional contenders for the hotly contested in-cosmetics Global awards—making 2025 a standout year for breakthrough launches.

Guided by the pillars of Science, Innovation, and Sustainability, visitors explored new ingredients, uncovered emerging trends, and learned how to incorporate them into future formulations.

Interactive zones like the Innovation Zone, Make-up Bar, and Sensory Bar brought the latest ingredient breakthroughs to life—offering tactile experiences and product testing opportunities.

In the Formulation Lab, attendees took this a step further, gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge materials under the guidance of industry experts—learning new techniques and creating trend-driven formulations.

Sustainability continued to take centre stage—not as a trend, but as a necessity.

The Sustainability Zone acted as a dedicated hub, showcasing the industry’s latest commitments, innovations, and actions driving long-term change.

"I came to in-cosmetics Global to meet new people and look for ingredients across categories, from chemical peels to pigments for makeup and even perfumes. One of the biggest challenges in R&D is how fast things change, especially around regulation like SPF in Europe, so events like this are key for staying up to date.
