Activ’Inside connects with a new beauty audience at in-cosmetics Global

Nutricosmetics specialist Activ’Inside made its in-cosmetics Global debut in Paris in 2026, exhibiting as part of the newly launched Inner Beauty Zone.

The company aimed to meet cosmetic and personal care brands exploring beauty from within and understand the support they need when entering the food supplement market. The dedicated zone helped Activ’Inside reach this audience, while the company’s first appearance also brought industry recognition when it was shortlisted for the Rising Star Award.

For Activ’Inside, the event provided an opportunity to raise its international profile, build relationships with beauty brands and take part in the growing conversation around the relationship between cosmetics and nutrition.

A timely opportunity for beauty from within

Activ’Inside’s first appearance at in-cosmetics Global came as beauty brands were showing greater interest in the connection between cosmetics, nutrition and wellness. Companies are increasingly considering supplements alongside topical products as part of a more holistic approach to skin and hair care.

This creates new opportunities for cosmetic brands, but entering the food supplement market can also bring questions around ingredients, formulation, regulation and scientific claims.

Activ’Inside attended the event to introduce its expertise to brands considering this next step. The French company develops natural nutricosmetic ingredients and finished-product solutions, supporting partners with formulation and clinical validation.

“We could see growing interest in beauty from within, particularly among cosmetic brands looking to expand their existing product portfolios,” explains Maïté Jeanroy, Marketing & Communication Director at Activ’Inside. “in-cosmetics Global gave us the opportunity to meet those companies, understand where they needed support and explain what is involved in developing an effective food supplement.”

A dedicated space for inner beauty

The launch of the Inner Beauty Zone gave beauty supplements a clear presence within an exhibition traditionally associated with topical cosmetic ingredients. It also made it easier for visitors to find companies with relevant knowledge and experience.

For Activ’Inside, being part of the zone clearly identified its specialism and helped attract visitors who were exploring the category. This included brands already developing ingestible products and those considering beauty supplements for the first time.

“The Inner Beauty Zone recognised the growing connection between cosmetics and nutricosmetics,” says Jeanroy. “It gave us a setting to have focused conversations with brands that wanted to understand the category.”

The zone also introduced Activ’Inside to cosmetic companies that may not previously have considered working with a nutraceutical specialist. This allowed the team to explain where its expertise could fit within their product development plans.

Helping brands understand where to begin

One question came up repeatedly at the show. Where should a cosmetic brand start when developing a beauty supplement? Many of the companies Activ’Inside met could see the potential of the market but had less experience with ingestible ingredients, formulation and regulatory requirements. Others wanted to understand how to assess the evidence behind an ingredient or support the claims made for a finished product.

“Many of the brands we met could see the potential of beauty from within but were still working out how to turn that opportunity into a credible product,” says Jeanroy. “We spoke about the questions that need to be considered early on, particularly around formulation, bioavailability, regulation and clinical evidence.”

Activ’Inside drew on its experience of developing nutricosmetic ingredients that are released during digestion, absorbed and used by the body. Its portfolio includes SkinAx²™ for skin health, Belight3™ for skin radiance and pigmentation, and Hair’Inside™ for hair health. Each has been developed using targeted extraction technologies and human clinical research.

A rising star for beauty from within

Activ’Inside’s debut brought further visibility when the company was shortlisted for the Rising Star Award at the 2026 in-cosmetics Global Awards. The award recognises businesses showing strong potential within the personal care ingredients industry.

The recognition came as nutricosmetics joined the show as a distinct category for the first time. By appearing alongside established topical ingredient businesses, Activ’Inside’s shortlist reflected the growing credibility of beauty from within across the wider personal care industry.

“Being shortlisted was a real source of pride for the team,” explains Jeanroy. “Receiving this recognition in the first year that nutricosmetics had a dedicated place at in-cosmetics Global made it particularly significant. It has strengthened our confidence and encouraged us to keep developing new approaches for the category.”

The nomination also gave visitors another reason to discover Activ’Inside at the show. It drew attention to the company’s work and supported conversations around the role of research and measurable efficacy in nutricosmetics.

Building connections with international brands

As a French company working in a competitive global market, Activ’Inside also used the event to increase its visibility outside its established nutraceutical audience.

in-cosmetics Global brought the team face to face with cosmetic and personal care companies from different markets, creating opportunities that would have been harder to generate through a specialist supplement event alone. It allowed Activ’Inside to present its expertise within the context of the wider beauty industry and explore where ingestible products could complement brands’ existing skincare and haircare ranges.

The discussions also offered useful insight into how the market is developing. While some businesses were already working on beauty supplements, others were still assessing the commercial opportunity and the capabilities they would need.

“Our first year confirmed that there is a real appetite among cosmetic brands to understand beauty from within,” says Jeanroy. “The event helped us reach an international audience, but it also allowed us to listen. We came away with a much stronger understanding of the questions brands are asking and the challenges they need help solving.”

The next chapter for Activ’Inside

Following its debut in Paris, Activ’Inside sees in-cosmetics Global becoming an important part of its international activity. As cosmetics and nutricosmetics become more closely connected, the event provides a place to meet brands from both areas of the industry and discuss how topical and ingestible products can work together.

Future editions will give the company an opportunity to share new ingredients and research, reconnect with contacts made in Paris and continue building relationships with beauty brands interested in the category.

Reflecting on Activ’Inside’s first year, Jeanroy explains: “in-cosmetics Global opened the door to beauty brands we wanted to reach and gave us a much clearer view of what they need from a nutricosmetics partner. The Inner Beauty Zone attracted the right audience, while the Rising Star Award brought valuable recognition to Hair’Inside™.

“For a company working in beauty from within, the event offers a valuable opportunity to meet cosmetic brands, understand their priorities and become part of the wider industry conversation.”

Activ’Inside’s experience demonstrates how in-cosmetics Global can help businesses enter new conversations and reach audiences outside their traditional markets. Its debut created greater visibility for the company, generated relevant discussions with international beauty brands and provided recognition for one of its latest ingredients.

The next edition of in-cosmetics Global will take place at Fira Barcelona Gran Via from 6–8 April 2027.
