    The event in 2018 attracted almost 9,400 personal care creators, each looking to discover new cosmetics ingredients and expand their network.

    In 2019, in-cosmetics Global returns to Paris, with around 800 of the world’s leading suppliers showcasing their personal care ingredients and innovative technologies. The event welcomes 95% of the world's leading suppliers, such as BASF, Dow, Croda, Ashland, Solvay, Evonik and many more.

    R&D specialists and formulators from the likes of Procter & Gamble, L'Oréal, Unilever, Colgate-Palmolive, Beiersdorf, Estée Lauder and Johnson & Johnson visit with a view to discovering the latest trends and solutions in skincare, haircare, suncare, colour cosmetics and much more.

    • I have been impressed by what I have seen at in-cosmetics Global. I am interested in the safety aspect and as such, have attended a number of the technical seminars which were particularly fascinating. I have met a number of new companies showcasing innovative raw materials, and was really interested in the number of smaller companies that attended from outside Europe. For me, in-cosmetics Global is a must-attend event for anyone involved in the development of new cosmetic products.

    • in-cosmetics Global is an important exhibition for Boots – we bring a big team every year to discover what’s new in the market and we are always made to feel very welcome. It is great to have all the suppliers in one place, under one roof. There is a good mix of companies and we have made some interesting new contacts. The Marketing Trends presentations are really useful – it has been a positive experience for us. This year the location and atmosphere are also very positive.

    • Working for The Body Shop, I am particularly interested in natural ingredients and there seem to be a lot of suppliers here in that field which is good - the number has definitely increased compared to last year. I spent the whole day at the Formulation Lab yesterday which was wonderful - it was very informative and hands on, and provided a great opportunity to network with industry colleagues. Overall, in-cosmetics Global is a very important exhibition, the highlight of the calendar!

I have found the Marketing Trends presentations really useful – it’s great to see the innovations in the context of the latest trends from a marketing rather than a scientific perspective.
