External stress, known as the main contributor to skin aging nowadays, is not only considering radiation but also pollution.

Our skin suffers from a detrimental mix: UV, HEV, IR light plus dust, particulate matters and volatile chemicals.

There are two ways to provide protection: ingredients that help counteract the production of radicals in/on skin like antioxidants; and ingredients that prevent/minimize radical formation from the beginning through absorbing, reflecting and scattering properties.

Considering both, first and second defense strategies, we propose a combination of protective systems to minimize external stress originating from pollution and radiations.
