Autophagy is an intracellular mechanism for survival/waste management system under high stress, malnutrition, or ageing. Lack of autophagic process in various human cells can often lead to metabolic disorders. Inducing autophagy has become a new approach and solution for the treatment of the disorders.

MelaTrepein-CST is an ingredient for customized hyperpigmentation treatment. MelaTrepein-CST contains an autophagy activator(MT1) and a PAR2 inhibitor(MT2), to facilitate melanosome degradation and inhibit melanosome transfer simultaneously. MelaTrepein-CST can be customized by changing the ratio of MT1 and MT2 based on the user’s needs. MelaTrepein-CST does not affect melanocytes and therefore a safe ingredient for hyperpigmentation.
