Dimethicones functionalised with the Propoxytetramethyl Piperidinyl group have been found to give superb frizz control, retention of curl definition and enhancement of curl memory.

This presentation will give the details of this discovery and show that high frizz control can be delivered using these functionalised silicones in blends with non-functionalised silicones, such as cyclopentasiloxane and dimethicone, and hydrocarbon solvents such as isododecane.
