Modernization has promoted an increase in inflammatory skin disorders such as eczemas. Differences found in the skin microbiome between uncontacted and urban populations suggest that interaction with nature and skin bacterial diversity and balance may play an important role in skin health.

The new peptide helps strengthen urban and sensitive skin by promoting a healthy microbiome similar to that of our ancestors in closer contact to nature. By helping improve the skin’s bacterial protective shield and the physical epidermal barrier, the ingredient offers a holistic approach towards a double barrier function reinforcement to restore vulnerable skin to its original condition.
