Shin-Etsu introduces a range of highly functional pigments for color cosmetics, the KTP-09 series. By using its unique silicone/alkyl branching hybrid silicone technology for surface treatment, these pigments offer a range of benefits to color cosmetics such as increased hydrophobicity, excellent wetting and improved dispersibility in a wide range of oils. Additionally, KTP-09 pigments provide good adhesion to skin combined with a light & silky feel.

KTP-09 pigments can be used in color cosmetic products including liquid, fluid & powder foundations. Here, KTP-09 enhances the flexibility choosing different oils ranging from silicone to natural, while reducing colored streaks and precipitation.
