Leon MENTINK earned his degree in Food Sciences from the Ecole Nationale des Techniques des Ingénieurs des Industries Agro-Alimentaires (ENITIAA) in Nantes (France). He holds also a Master's degree in Edible Oils & Fats Refining and Chemical modification from the Ecole Supérieure d’Applications des Corps Gras (ESACG) in Bordeaux (France). He graduated some years later the International Patent and Intellectual Property School (CEIPI) in Paris.
Over 20 years experience in several R&D positions working on food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical and industrial applications developments of starches and their derivatives at Roquette, Léon Mentink moves to marketing.
Léon Mentink is today the Innovation Director of the new cosmetic division of Roquette in charge of the technical development of Roquette’s plant-based ingredients and actives for the beauty industry.
