Sensory Bar

  • Engage all of your senses in this unique experience

Products which provide a unique sensorial experience are one of the hottest topics in speciality, personal care. The sensory bar gives you the opportunity to touch, feel and try these products for yourself.

New functional ingredients and delivery systems are driving the next generation in texture development. Launched in 2016, the Sensory Bar allows visitors to try-out products that offer unusual textures and sensations.

  • The companies which display products in this area are the innovators in this field and if you are particularly interested in certain products it’s possible to visit their stands afterwards to learn more.

Some of the formulations you will be able to explore:

    • Innovative textures & new sensations: including transforming and hybrid textures, heating and cooling, jellies, butters and powders
    • Evocative & symbolic fragrances
    • Surprising tastes: lipstick and oral care

Each exhibitor showcasing a product on the Sensory Bar will have a dedicated space, with an explanatory board and be promoted by our marketing team. They will also be entered into the ‘sensory award’ which is judged at the show by a panel of experts.

Most exhibitors who showcase their products in the Sensory Bar see a boost in visitor attendance at their stand attendance.

This is reinforced by the fact that 84% of visitors interviewed from in-cosmetics Global 2016 said they were more likely to visit exhibitor stands after having tried their product at the Sensory Bar.
