A host of ingredients set to revolutionise the everyday beauty regime are being unveiled at in-cosmetics in Milan this month.
70 products which promise to minimise the signs of ageing and reduce cellulite amongst others, will feature in the Innovation Zone at the show, which takes place at Fiera Milano Rho on 29-31 March 2011 in Milan.
Sponsored by ISP, the Innovation Zone will be full to bursting with inspiration,
enabling visitors to quickly identify the very latest launches and provide ideas for their next NPD or marketing campaign as Cathy Laporte, in-cosmetics Group Marketing Manager explains:
“We’re really excited about the Innovation Zone this year. There will certainly be many new products on show that visitors have never seen before. And for the first time this year we’ve launched our Best Ingredient Award.
“All the entries were whittled down to eight very-deserving finalists based on how well their ingredients combine science and product features in a way that demonstrates substantial benefits to manufacturers and end-users when compared with existing ingredients. We wish each and every one of them the best of luck for the final competition.”
The ingredients were judged by a panel of industry experts, who narrowed them down to the following eight finalists:
Ichimaru Pharcos Co., Ltd. with Biocellact CHAMOMILLA BD, a new approach to anti-ageing skincare product development based on the M. chammomilla extract.
IRB with MARRIBUM VULGARE STEMS G™, a new green biotech cosmetic ingredient specifically designed to maximise the self-protection of skin from external stresses.
ISP with Capsaline 14™, a synthetic peptide designed to target and boost the expression of capsase-14, which is believed to be an important component in the skin’s natural defenses.
