Rice Bran Oil, refined

Origin and production: High quality Rice Bran Oil (Oleum oryzae) is pressed from fresh rice bran, followed by an extraction, dewaxing, bleaching,deodorization and winterization process. The oil is characterized by a high level of tocochromanols (tocopherols and tocotrienols) plus a high oxidative stability with a mild taste and light yellow colour. The rice plant is mainly cultivated in the Far East. Usage: Refined Rice Bran Oil is very stable (tocochomanols, stearins) and highly heatable. It is used in the Asian cuisine and as a frying oil. The high content of tocotrienols, discussed to lower blood fat content, is appealing to the dietary cuisine. The Cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries use Rice Bran Oil for the excellent skin compatibility and stability in ointments, cremes and emulsions. Traditional formulations use the oil in special lubricating and cleaning oils.
