IMERYS Performance Minerals is launching ImerCare™, its new natural minerals for cosmetics product range at In-Cosmetics 2012. The ImerCare™ product portfolio is the result of IMERYS’ unique knowledge of mineral technology combined with application expertise and a commitment to New Product Development to select the most suitable mineral and grade to improve the formulation of cosmetic products. The ImerCare™ product family is made up of Kaolin, Perlite, Mica, Calcium Carbonates and Diatomite. Following the recent acquisition of the world’s leading talc producer, Luzenac, Imerys has broadened its portfolio even further with the widest range of cosmetic talcs available on the market for enhanced softness, silkiness and the right degree of covering power versus transparency and matt versus gloss. The ImerCare™ natural minerals portfolio offers cosmetics producers an unparalleled set of properties including absorption, opacity, matting and softness. All of these attributes can be optimised to meet individual formulation requirements through selective sourcing and processing control.
