Dr. Cristina Carreño, PhD Organic Chemistry, University of Barcelona (UB) 1997, specialising in both peptide and combinatorial chemistry. Head of the Peptide Synthesis Facility at UB for nine years, she joined DiverDrugs, the Drug Discovery Company of Lipotec Group in 1999 and early in 2002 she was appointed Chief Executive Officer. Since 2008 she is Chief Business Development Officer for Lipotec. Dr. Carreño is the author of several patents for new actives for cosmetic dermatology.
